- If you're looking for a professional VR headset, we advise the PICO G2 4K
Reducept 2D now available on mobile
You can now play Reducept 'flat' (2D) on your mobile phone. Train your brain to make less pain, where and when you want. Reducept 2D can be controlled by placing your finger or thumb on the screen and aiming the visor that way.
Reducept 2D is not yet available for Samsung Galaxy S6 and new models. We are working to make this available in the near future.
iOs download in the Apple store.
Android download in the Google Playstore.
Reducept on the Pico G2 4K
Pico is the alternative to the Oculus Go. The headset resembles an Oculus Go, but has a slightly better computer and lenses in the headset. The Pico is therefore also a bit more expensive, but from €349,- (price subject to change) available and even for rent to try first. Reducept is available in the Pico store.
With the Pico you will not be able to walk around like with some other VR sets. The Pico is meant to open sitting apps and only look around you.

Reducept in Virtual Reality on the Mobile Phone
To test if your phone is suitable for Virtual Reality, you can search for 'Reducept' in your App Store. You can install the app for free. When you play the app in Virtual Reality mode, you'll see an almost identical screen next to each other twice. You control the app by moving your phone. Can you do that? Then your phone is VR compatible.

Playing Reducept on the Oculus Go
Oculus Go is the most affordable and good quality VR headset that Reducept can play on. Unfortunately Oculus has indicated to stop selling the Go. Until the end of 2020, developers can still send updates of their apps via the Oculus platform. They themselves will support the headset with updates until 2022.
Reducept can still be used on the Oculus Go in 2021. Reducept will then continue to work as usual. We are currently investigating whether there are alternatives for implementing updates.
Reducept on the Oculus Quest - To Be Announced

Playing Reducept on Oculus Quest
The Oculus Quest is the headset on which Oculus will focus in the coming years. With the Oculus Quest you can literally walk through space. The Quest has two controllers with which you can play complex apps or games and can even follow your hands in space.
With €459,- (price subject to change) the Oculus Quest is pricey. However, the Quest has much more features than the Pico and there are many more apps already available for the Quest. If you really like gadgets and VR, then the Quest is the best choice. We are currently awaiting approval for the Oculus Quest Store.
Our advice
Our advice mainly depends on your budget. If your smartphone works well with VR, this way you can get acquainted with Reducept. If you like Reducept, you can always decide to buy a more expensive VR headset. If you only play for Reducept, the Pico is the best option.
